My folks came to Savannah Saturday, May 18th, 2002. My sister Lynn and husband Sherwood met us there too that day followed closely by second sister Marylou and brother Bill. Mark would drive down from Michigan and meet us at the house Sunday afternoon. Sunday morning caravaned up to the Isle of Palms and the beach house Melissa rented for us all to celebrate my 50th birthday, driving through a rainstorm which diminished the closer we got to Wild Dunes Resort. Upon our arrival the sun was starting to reveal itself, and we'd see no more overcast skies that week. The low temperatures, however, would remain. But it would be a great week with most of my family around to enjoy.
